First look: Jaguar C-X16

2011 Jaguar C-X16With the Frankfurt Motor Show just around the corner, Jaguar has chosen to reveal a sketch of the concept car it will unveil at the September show.

Designed by the same team that produced the firm’s current line-up – XJ, XF and XK – and headed by Jaguar Director of Design Ian Callum, the C-X16 concept is a claimed to be a precursor to future Jaguar sports.

Commenting on the concept car, Ian Callum said: “Great Jaguars have always been beautiful, innovative and have looked firmly to the future. The finished C-X16 concept has the potential to do these things while retaining the ability to surprise, to excite and invigorate.”
